Check out the announcements in the paper and work off of that.

I would NOT put the date of your wedding, just the year and season "Fall 08 wedding planned".

You dont put your plans after marriage in your engagment announcement

Usually after the announcement part they say "The bride is a gradutate on Thomas High School and is currently working as a receptionist at Beauty Salon. The groom is a graduate of Smith High School and is working towards his Bacheleor of Science degree in History at The University of Anywhere. A Fall Wedding is planed for 2008.

Check with your newspaper and see what they request. A lot of times they don't want you to actually write the announcement, they just want you to fill out a form with all the information. Then, they have a staff member who writes the announcement.

Even if they do want the whole announcement from you, I'd call them and ask. They see a bazillion announcements a day. They'll have some tips for wording it nicely.

Just be honest about it......

Put that you are a_______-(fill n the year) graduate of _______(fill in the high school), and you are currently employed as an ______________(fill n occupation, you know, something as simple as being a secretary can be worded differently, so glam up your job title) at __________(fill n place of employment)!
You really don't have to disclose the part of you becoming a house wife, because that you you and future hubby's personal decision. But if you want to put it, throw in something along the lines of you becoming a home maker in the future.

It should just say that you are a graduate of "smith" high school and are currently employed part-time with "Jones Company." You don't need to say anything about the future. Just the present is fine.

Take your information to the newspaper and talk to the editor of the social page. He/she can help you work the article to read well and to make you sound good if that is what you want.
