Quailman is correct, this is the last line of the Hail Mary- which many people say its when catholics pray to Mary and put her on the same level as God. We ask her to pray for us

It's a prayer to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. It's a line from the Hail Mary - which I think is a very beautiful prayer by the way.

You use the term "pray" and in order to do so I believe the person prayed to must be deity. I think a better term is "invoke" since in the Catholic view, saints are addressed as having access to God through their merits, but are not gods themselves. In other words, we invoke Mary to pray for us, we do not pray to Mary to pray for us. No, your question does not call Mary, God.

It's not saying Mary is God.. but it IS praying to a dead person (just like praying to saints); something strictly forbidden in the Bible. I am guessing that's what you're talking about anyway.

It's not.

The people who think we worship Mary have no idea what our religion is all about.
