There is a pic in the dentist office but it doesnt really explain it...It just shows green teeth..

Chromo means color and genic means producing. I would speculate that Chromogenic bacteria would therefore be bacteria that produce color. However I am not familiar with this terminology.

Chromogenic bacteria are just bacteria that produce a pigment or color. Bacteria are constantly growing in our mouths. They're easily removed with proper hygiene, that is... daily brushing and flossing. Don't forget to brush your tongue too, for fresher breath.
