It is a FACT that I am the father of my children. I can prove this by DNA testing. What PROOF do you have for creation? Please, the bible proves nothing. I have a book that says intersteller drives exist but I have no PROOF they do. Same thing.

Creation is not a fact. Creationists are so muddled up right now they don't know which direction they want to go.

First off, in case you read no further, go to www.doesgodexist.org. Very good reading for those questioning.

I understand wanting proof via dna testing, etc., but why can't the science of biology/how a human is made, a plant or animal is made, whatever, be proof enough that all life form in itself is a miracle to begin with? Believers are not ignorant from the fact we do not demand scientific proof; we just choose to believe based on faith and what we see in our world/lives now. For me, it was the simple act of asking God to give me 'understanding'; and yep, I've been hooked since!

As just one of two parents of this amazing creature, did you put a thought to what hair color you would like on your "creation?" How about eye color, or tendencies that he-she might have? Did you put these (DNA) strands together?
I say "He-she" because I don't know, and neither did you for a time. You just preformed a command of Superior Intelligence to "Be fruitful and multiply." If you hadn't simply done the act of sex to help facilitate creation of this amazing being that you call *your* child, but instead, started knitting bone to bone, part to part, fitting and taking care that the body parts went together just right, even seeing to it that the molecules and atoms aligned themselves just right, I could see your argument. These parts and pieces came from stardust! All these things we see around us, that we think are so ordinary, an intelligent creator has made to seem so common place, because it has been the same (without a hitch) for as long as this race (and before) can remember. An intelligence so far superior from anything we can possibly imagine it is mind boggling. "He" has so aligned "Himself" with his creation, that we can't separate the two, simply because we in our infinite ignorance, think we are justified into thinking that we can go it alone. This wastefulness of 'natural' resources and toxic waste that you see and read about, that creates unimaginable pain and suffering, reflects that mentality.

Thank you for reminding me of this. I need to get this set in my mind every second of every day, 24-7, not just on "Sundays".

There is no way to prove it. its a matter of faith. People that believe in creation have faith in thier beliefs. Its not a matter of proof or fact. I'm a christian, but i believe in evolution. But it still boggles my mind when people want "proof" of a religious belief. If you don't believe, then don't believe. Its not a big deal. Though i do get a little miffed when fundies don't want evolution taught in the schools. Its funny. when i was in shool, we learned evolution, and had a short chapter on "intelligent design" though it wasnt called that back then. I though (and still think) that is perfectly acceptable.

Both sides could give tons of evidence and the other still wouldn't believe it. I am positive Evolution is fact but no matter how much proof there is, Creationism will still exist.

On the other side of the matter of origins, here's book that shows the naturalistic origin of religion.

And then came the eighth day. And God realized there was no proof for his work. So God declared, "Let there be proof." And so it was.

...if you doubt Creation, try this.... make me a Tree; an Apple Tree will do just nicely... let me know when you've made it, won't you...? (no you can't use an Apple seed...that's Gods Creation)... you can't use His "dirt" either...He made that too.
and don't even think about using the "Sun" or His "water" to nourish your creation... get your own !

proof lies in the fact that humans did not always walk this earth, and now they do. They were created. How is it that such a magnificent creature, such as the human body, came together by chance?
