I've had that happen too and when the guy asked "is it because I'm black/brown/whatever" I quickly let him know that by that statement he was implying that I accept the offers from every guy of my own race, which of course isn't true.

Either you are attracted or not...even if you simply don't care to date people of that race, that's your choice and it's okay. Some people just want excuses when they are rejected because it helps them feel better...as if the issue is with you and not just lack of appeal.

You can't help what other people think. I've been called "a stupid b!tch" before because I've POLITELY rejected someone" Now I know that I'm not a stupid b!tch just like you know you're not racist. People get angry/upset at rejection and instead of reasoning that not everyone they are attracted to is attracted to them they toss out the first thing at their disposal be it an insult, a race card, etc.

"Why is it seen racist to accuse yet another race of being racist?" that's not. that's a ploy that White bigots interior the GOP use to attempt to conclusion the conservation approximately them showing their actual racist colorings. it is so crystal sparkling, in simple terms take a examine out their million racist comments right here approximately President Obama. that's humorous, even an glaring bigot who wears racism on his sleeve for all to confirm, hates being spoke of as racist pfft. EDIT: i replace into conversing of many human beings in a team being racist, ... no longer an entire team of individuals. Your comments although are directed in the direction of an entire team however.

absolutely not. rejection is a hard thing to swallow, when this happens people are going to try and think of any excuses to why you rejected them other then you might just not like them. The easiest one is "you racist little ****!", then the blame to their rejection isn't that maybe you just don't like them b/c their not your type. So when this happens you have every right to get angry at them for accusing you of this. Simply tell them, look it has nothing to do with your race, it's just the fact that i don't like you, and if you can't accept that then even more reason for me not to like you!

People will always think what they want. It would be nice if you would tell this person you are not seeing anyone at this time, however, you would like to be friends. Being friends has never hurt anyone, especially trying to save ones feelings.

Someone said this is 2007, that does not mean racism is over by far. Read the paper, watch the news...

However, there are MANY interracial marriages out there...it is what YOU believe in.

Are you rejecting them because of their race? If not don't worry about it because it's their insecurity and problem.

Don't immediately reject the possibility. I got rejected because of race "oh sorry I'm not racist or anything I just don't date white guys." I have no doubt that the woman truly thought she wasn't racist.

never feel guilty for not being attracted to somebody.....let them take it how they want...thats their problem because you know whats really going on in your mind

A guy facing rejection from a pretty girl is worse than any racist thing that could happen....so trying to avoid it is pointless

dont think about it... it wont come into their mind because we're like in the year 2007 and no one pays attention to that stuff anymore.. its gone... just tell him the reason youre rejecting him (if its not to do with the race thing.... otherwise just make up something)

Your safest way of turning someone down is to simply say that you're not ready to date at the moment. You can also tell him that it was sweet of him to ask you out, but you just don't see yourself going out with anyone but extend the offer of hanging out as friends.

You don't. You reject them as you would anyone else you are not interested in.

If they see it as a race issue, then that just verifies that they are an insecure little twerp and you made the right decision.
