You consider the bible to be written by men or translated so many times, it is just a book of tales, have you consiered these scriptures that MEN have somehow overlooked for years and did not catch???
Men washing dishes for one 2 Kings
And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
Men were known for their disobediance in the bible god told adam to instruct his wife yet he was standing next to in the garden when she ate the fruit and said nothing: Gen. 3:6
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband WITH HER; and he did eat.
Noah who was chosen to be saved form the flood was also told the order to leave the ark, but disobeyed God:
Genesis 8:15-17 (King James Version)

Noah contriversay:
God told Noah the order to go into the Ark, yet Noah disobeyed God, naughty naughty:
Genesis 8:15-17 (King James Version)
15And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
17Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
Gen. 8:18
And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him.
As you can see Noah changed the order himself and wondered why Ham did what he did to him.
Paul said that women should be quite in church because women were put on one side of the chruch and men on the other and the women were asking their husbands questions while the service was going on and making to much nosie, pastors today use this scripture to make women be quite,

The Question is, how could the bible be written by men, if men left these mistakes in it, that make them look bad??? Must be from God.

I liked paul he let women go to school, be in leadership positions in the church, go to church and use their spirtual gifts, he never used the excuse that eve ate the apple, he said that thru adam's trangression, we all get sin nature in our DNA, but thru jesus we are saved.

ok..... obviously it is from God, i could havetold you that, and about the Bible being sexist. men are the head of the home. i'm probably gonna get lanced for saying this but men are the natural leaders. men aren't supposed to treat women as floormats but i do believe that God put men in the leadership role. and yes i am a woman. no i am not old. i am 20, i just feel that each person has their place and and a woman's place is beside he male leader.

I consider the writings that were compiled to comprise the bible were written by men, for men, with no inspiration from any god.
If a few verses say some guy picked up a dish, It's probably because there were no women around when they wrote that verse in their cave in the desert...

Not just Noah, but Moses, David, and many others blatantly disobeyed God.
And yet, because they trusted in God, they were included in the book of Hebrews, in the "hall of fame" (so to speak).
But, let's face it - which are bigger sinners? men or women?
Well, in God's eyes, when it comes to sin, and when it comes to salvation, there is neither male nor female, for "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".

Wow, a single verse about a guy washing dishes. You are right, the Bible isn't sexist at all.
There are many many many sexist, anti-women passages in the Bible. Click my profile, a while back I asked about this, and cited many scriptures directly.
*edit* I see what you are asking now. Good point. =)

its a book of tales. written by men who were vastly more uneducated than today. just because you add a scripture does not validate anything. not trying to slam you... just dont see the point of your semi question is getting at...to say a man washed dishes?...im sure they did. to say adam didnt listen to god... he did listen to his wife?...well... if you dont listen to your wife...all hell breaks loose ayways. lol so he was going to be screwed no matter what he did

2 Timothy 4
1 I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he appears to set up his Kingdom: 2 Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
5 But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
