So all of you who answered "Yes my faith is in the Bible" Where is your faith in God? Faith in God does not come from the bible. So according to those of you who answered yes, then you all are committing idolatry. You have made the bible a god and you worship that, instead of Jesus Christ God Almighty.

My faith and trust are in JESUS CHRIST. The Bible is authored by GOD through HIS prophets. I believe that JESUS said and did these things, not only in the new testament but in the old testament. All of it being JESUS. Can we seperate JESUS from the law, when not one jot nor tittle of the law will fall away, that though HEAVEN and Earth pass away JESUS' words shall not fall away. That being Said, I believe the Bible to be infallible TRUTH.

With one stipulation, we must know how to read the Bible. We see in the book of acts an educated man reading the Bible, Isaiah in particular and not understanding it until the Apostles taught them . . . That being so the man began to understand. The Bible is TRUTH but we must be taught its mysteries by those to whom the mysteries of the KINGDOM have been given to know. As the Apostles were given this, but to those who weren't given this they were given parables so they could understand.

My trust is in JESUS and therefore i believe what JESUS spoke. My faith is in GOD ALMIGHTY, and GOD ALMIGHTY gave us the Bible to understand HIM and HIS plan of salvation. How do we seperate the WORD from the book? How do we sepearte JESUS from the VINE? How do we seperate the TREE from the seed. And the Bible is a seed which a VINE grows, a VINE of knowledge that combats ignorance, but must be learned in the light of Sacred Tradition, in context of JESUS, of Scripture, of Tradition.

My faith is in JESUS the author of the Bible.

LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

My faith is in God, religion frightens me. I believe there is and can only be one God, it matters not how you acknowledge him, many men speak in his name and by doing so stop his word being heard. Tell and accept the truth, stand tall in the eyes of God, help others when you can - you will feel the Lord and know happiness.....

Yes, the Bible is the Word of God.

Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Hell no...the Bible has been massacred time and time again to the point where all it speaks of is metaphors...the only thing it is good for is an occasional bedtime story from the book of Revelation...

...or something to keep your fireplace going at night.

By faith do you mean that book or the words in that book? If you say book I have no faith at all in it. If you say the words in the book I have unquenchable faith in it.

No. My faith is in my fellow man. Why?

And if you're Christian, shouldn't your faith be in God? Not a book?
