The rack that contains the popular liquors that sell the most usually located right in front of where the bartender stands most of the time.
All bottles have to go in the same order, for example at my bar we arrange them in this way.

Fron left to right.- Bourbon, scotch, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple-sec, roses lime juice, grenadine and vermouth.

It is a container (usually aluminum) mounted at the front (behind) the bar that holds the most popular and most used alcohol....and in some bars it holds only the 'bar' alcohol.....which means that...some bars when you order a 'rum and coke' you will probably get a cheap brand of rum (in the speed rail) and if you have a preference...like Bacardi Rum....you would order a Bacardi and Coke.....

It's sort of a rack/holder where the house liquors (cheap) are stored for easy grabbing and pouring. It's attached to the front of the sink.
