Not 'getting ugly' -you should have spayed- too late now.

There are approx 7 puppies? They'll need their first shots- about $50 a piece. Also you can't sell them until they are at least 2 months old- 10 or 12 weeks is better. You have a large female- it'll probably cost about $150 to spay her. So I'd say charge $75 for the pups and then take the extra $25x7=$175 and have your dog spayed. If is is more expensive to get her spayed you could try charging $100 a piece.

You should only sell them for the cost of their first vet exam , deworming and vaccinations.

On another note you should NOT be breeding a white Boxer!!! It is very obvious that you do not breed in a responsible manner since 1) you are breeding a white Boxer 2) your dog got bred by an "unknown". I would wager that you don't do any health testing..OFA/PennHip, CERF/PRA, thyroid, research the pedigree to insure there is no skin conditions or seizures (which are common in the Boxer breed) that you don't show (I know you didn't show your girl since white Boxers aren't allowed in the breed ring) or have your dogs evaluated to make sure they are of breed standard.
Breeding a white Boxer is not encouraged since it can be a genetic nightmare,,it can and far to often results in blind, deaf or blind/deaf puppies, puppies with terrible skin condition, seizures, lethal whites, etc..
Be responsible and get her spayed.

I will so bother. That's how much this issue means to me.
Please help us to control the pet overpopulation problem by spaying your White Boxer. As another person mentioned, she is not the breed standard, and even if she's not deaf, her puppies may be. Do you know how to care for a deaf dog? Most people don't. That's why they die in shelters. A lot of them.

PS: I will send you the money you want for a pup if you will write me a contract saying you will spay your dog with it

Charge the price you've spent on them so far. The price you charge for the puppies should be no more than what you've put into them (food, vet visits, shots, etc.) Have they seen a vet yet? Will they start getting their vaccinations soon?

Here's a few links I recommend anyone interested in breeding to read:
- http://www.learntobreed.com/ (note: some of the links are broken on this site, but what is there is good information)

Also, please spay her. A white boxer should NOT be bred! It is outside the breed standard. Also, white boxers have a higher rate of deafness/blindness, which are traits you do NOT want to pass on.

Since they are mixed breed I would start to advertise them for $50-100 for a little while but if nobody buys then hurry up and advertise them for free because as soon as they're grown up few people want to buy them and then you'd have to give them to an animal shelter.

I would also either get your boxer spayed or keep her away from un-neutered dogs after this litter unless you want her to have more pups. And if you do want her to have more pets find people who would want them before you get her pregnant because you don't want a bunch of pups that you can't find homes for.

I wish you luck in getting homes for all of them.

Spay the mother first. Then place them up for adoption for a fee of about $90-$100. If you give them away, people will end up throwing them away to the shelter or pound or to the streets.

If you cannot sell the pups, turn them in to a boxer rescue group. Yes, breed rescue groups do rescue mixes, so long as these mixes seem to be at least part of the breed they rescue.

If you want, you can buy AKC papers for them; it might trick people into thinking the pups are purebred. It is extremely easy to get AKC papers, as Dateline proved a while back by registering 2 cats as purebred golden retrievers. Just send in the fee and they'll send you the papers.

Brina--we wouldn't get ugly if people would actually spay/neuter their pets! I don't think I get "ugly", I just get mad when I hear someone's trying to find the right time to mate their dogs together, or when their female dog died while giving birth.

If you can afford to deworm and get the pups their first shots, add up those costs per pup, add $50 each and there's your price. That way the pups are healthy when they leave, you have the money back that you spent on the pups, and with the profit you could think about spaying the mother. Good luck!

I have an all white boxer too. She had pups last year with my pitbull. They were SO cute! We sold them for $100 each. When it came down to like the last 2 they were $50 each because we just had to get rid of them.

I would say $50 a pup to make sure they're going to a good home.
