Jeff Gordon now and in the past. Gordon is #1 in points and has won more than 75 races in his career. Junior is #12 in points and has won less than 20 races in his career. There is really no comparison in who is the better of the 2. Gordon is one of the very best ever

If you're rating a driver's likability based on stats, there's no doubt I'd like Jeff Gordon better....
If you're rating a driver based on their personality, I'd have to say it's a tie between both drivers....
IMO, liking a driver more than another is common and will be that way forever. We all have our own 'pet peeves', per se about certain drivers, it's a part of the sport.

Junior doesn't suck. He just has a long way to go in his career. Even though I like them both I have to go with my favorite driver Jeff Gordon because there really is no comparison. This question is so dumb. This is like the 10th time I have seen a question that compares Jeff and Junior.

24! i like both but i dont understand what it is that people dont like him. perfect example, my neighbor has a limited edition Dale Jr. Monte Carlo (only 5 made) straight from the factory, that is like an exect replica to the real car with the decals and everything, he told me he wants to drive it off a cliff now that Dale Jr. is at Hendricks. whats the deal? you Dale fans are going to need to learn except the fact that Jr. will be racing with Gordon.

Dale does not suck!!! Dale and Jeff are my two favorite drivers and I like them both because of their individual talents! While Jr does not have the stats Jeff does, Jeff doesn't have all the great charms I love in Dale!

Any Driver that is able to qualify at each track doesnt suk. Jr is a great driver. Not the best but he is in the chase still so saying he sux is only your opinion. Based on the stats, he's good.
