No--don't eat the pretzels---Why??? The salt content.. Salt will raise the bolld pressure. Hi pressure is probably one of the reasons you need a diet.. No to salt and no to pretzels---OK Just trying to help...

you're a guy... that's a great starting point... however a little light. i mean i guess depending on portions... but that does not sound like much food for a guy. try adding some fruit to your yogurt (not fruit flavored yogurt, real fruit to vanilla yogurt) also you can add cottage cheese for a lil extra protien boost. your breakdown of macronutrients (fat protien carbs) is probably close to good, though maybe a little low in fat.

if i were you i'd add some fruit to breakfast and some eggs or whites. (the goal is to eat carbs AND protien at each meal) . snack add some fruit and cottage cheese. lunch add some brown rice or pasta snack same as above, dinner is good, snack same as before. also... you are very likely going to get worn out on all that yogurt! i eat it twice a day, but i could eat the same thing everyday for three years and it'd be okay.... most people tell me they wear out on things. maybe replace one of those (the midday snack maybe) with a meal replacement bar or shake. it's a sweet treat and has a little more fat in it... good luck! watch your portions and check out how many calories you need for your height and weight. the pretzles are absolutely not a breaker... maybe not the best choice, but you could definately be making worse choices. i'd be more concerned about all the sugar depending on the cereal you're eating. there are wheat pretzles too which are really a marketing scheme but they are tastey and at least a little bit of a better choice. good luck. check out apexfitness.com. they give a sample meal plan... and you can move things and break it up differently (i think they only give two snacks... but i'm with you... three's best!)

nothing is a diet ruiner if you don't go over your daily calorie limit. However, pretzels do are full of gross refined flour that has very little nutritional value. Even though they are low in fat, they aren't going to help fill you up. You will feel hungry again later. Try Snyders Multi-Grain pretzels that are a bit healthier - lower in sodium and higher in protein and fiber. Check out nutritiondata.com for healthy snack choices.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

If you want to lower your carb intake, pretzels are the wrong way to go and most are salty, too. Check the calorie count. Try whole grain pretzels to get added fiber and help you feel fuller longer

It's like anything else...it depends on how many pretzels you will eat. Pretzels have a high sodium count, just make sure you are drinking prently of water. A serving should be fine...

there is really no reason to consume low fat food items. fats are essential nutrients and should make up for no less than 20% of the daily calories for males. if the fat intake is reduced too low then test production will decrease which equates to a slower metabolic rate and a decrease in muscle mass and strength.

where is the protein in your diet? where are the healthy fats in your diet? where is the fiber? where are the veggies?
