I am 27yr old male Aussie.
And I grew up watching cartoons like Inspector gadget from 1983.Also thundercats, gargoyals, the wind in the willows(plasticine looking episodes, using start stop animation)
and alot of the disney cartoons during my teens like beauty and the beast, little mermaid and so on.Also He man and she ra,
and I remember them fondly so much, that I have most of them on DVD,now.Theres nothing like the originals and the childhood memories they evoke, the newer cartoons of today cannot even match them.;)

When I was a child in the 1940s and 1950s tv hadn't yet arrived in the area where I lived.
A tv tower was built at a town 90 miles away in 1959, but only one family had a tv, and those who visited to look at it only saw a lot of snow for the most part.
Test patterns were kinda fun.
