Yes. If you'll believe that a burning bush can talk, a snake and donkey can talk, unicorns and giants exist, etc, then you must be really gullible.

No, I think having faith a higher power makes you stronger. It gives you someone/something to turn over your problems to and it gives you someone/thing to confide in when no one else is trust worthy to keep the secret. By having a god that I believe in, namely a benevolent diety who loves me like a father, I have someone that I know cares about me unconditionally, will provide for me, and who will offer me guidance and enlightenment through my life. I know that I can go to god at any time, with any problem or request, and know that I am being heard and that he will take some action, give me some response, and that I can live with whatever he passes down. That is more than enough for me. I would think it would be harder going through life without at least a little supernatural aid, having to deal with all of lifes ups and downs with no one to lean on when you run out of strength. But then again I suppose that would either make or break a person too. You would either become really hard and tough or really depressed and angry. Perhaps Im wrong, its just what occurs to me. Sorry.

My belief in a Christian worldview, and thereby my belief in God has made me much more discerning than I ever thought I could be.
Through God's Truth (His Word-the Bible), I am able to see through the lies that most of this world buys into on a daily, if not moment to moment, basis.
Although Christians are called to a childlike faith, that doesn't mean we are to be guillable. In fact, we are to be on guard vigilantly for the weapons of this world and of the spiritual realm. That doesn't happen unless you are wise.

It is not an easy life, you will hate the world, and the things therein, people will use you, take advantage of you, and you must except it.
You get discouraged, because you hear people claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, but they do it with their mouths and not within their hearts and minds, but you are not to get mad, judge them, or condemn them, you are to love them

Not at all. The Bible teaches me not the give in to "the patterns of this world." I know not to believe everything I see, and to understand that all of us are imperfect.
Trust must be earned, and not given.

Neither. I believe in God because he's shown himself to be real.
