You are right to question your faith.
How can you really have faith in the church if you can not logically answer the questions in your mind.
Turn to the bible for answers , strike to understand it before you commit to a religion

I did a long time ago, then I did a little research into other religions and realized that they are all just systems of belief, but none of them are actually true. I personally decided to learn as much as I could about the roots of my parent's religion, and found it to be a conglomeration of a bunch of other beliefs. But it wasn't until I learned about Judaism that it really sunk in just how false my mother's religion was. I mean, at first I could say that it was rooted in pagan religions and what not, but how did I know that those religions didn't have a shred of truth to them? Then I learned the truth behind the beliefs of Jews and Judaism (the religion that my mother's savior practiced) and learned how the bible was put together and the many important theological differences between the actual beliefs of Judaism as opposed to the beliefs of Judaism as claimed by christians.
There's very good reason Jesus is not the Jewish Messiah, despite christian claims to the contrary. Just because someone says they discovered America does not mean that the people that were already there consider themselves a discovery, nor do they consider the invaders a welcome sight. Christianity says it's true because Jesus fulfilled 300+ prophecies in the Old Testament, what they don't tell you is that the Old Testament has been reworded and reordered and reinterpreted to make prophecies where there are none, to change songs, proverbs, and stories about other people to seem vaguely like they may point to Jesus. The real prophecies about The Messiah are clear, as it is also clear that the term messiah does not mean savior. You can look for reasons to believe if you want to, but if you want to know the truth, find out from Jews why they didn't accept Jesus as the Messiah, instead of taking the word of christians about why someone else didn't accept their word.
Think of it this way, you've had a friend for a long time that has always told you that he used to date Demi Moore before she was big back when he lived in Illinois. He even shows you some photos he has saved on his computer of the two of them together. All of the photos look real, but if you take a real good look at them, you can see that the shadows don't match, and that there's something artificial about them. Then you go to Demi Moore's website and find the exact same picture of her with someone else, and the lighting matches perfectly, with nothing artificial or out of place. Clearly, your friend wasn't telling you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Now, you can still be friends with this guy, but now you know the truth about it, so you'll never believe him again when he tells you he used to date anyone famous and shows you pictures to prove it. You know that he doctors pictures to put himself in them, and you wonder what else he does.
Find out from Jews what they say about their messiahs (there are and have been several, but the one they're awaiting is supposed to be and do certain things during his lifetime on earth, not two thousand years down the road). As for other ways of living, if you must believe one of the Judaism based religions I recommend finding out (from Jews, or course) what their god expected of Gentiles. You'll find that being a good person is really all you need to do to assure yourself a place in the world to come.
I hope this helped.

You are on the right track and the women in your Bible Study group are correct. Satan is firing his darts at you. You are in spiritual warfare and so are the rest of us. Satan knows you haven't quite put all of your trust in the Lord and Satan's battlefield is in your mind. Ask the Father God to strengthen your faith and fill you with the Holy Spirit who teaches you all things. There is nothing wrong with asking God for more faith and more Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes in He will start stripping away the sin in your life - including all the doubts. Do not listen to Satan because he comes to kill, steal and destroy. There are only 2 religions - God or man. There is only one way to heaven and that is believing in Jesus Christ.
All other ways are false doctrine and false religions.

I would suggest praying to Him about it. Ask him to help you in your search to know him better and to help you overcome any obstacles that may be in the way of you giving it all to God. Even after accepting Jesus as your savior, it is hard to let go and let God - we're so used to handling it all ourselves - and look where it gets us! You're headed in a good direction, just keep praying. Um, maybe don't focus so much on Satan - or the ladies who keep telling you that's all it is. Many people struggle to give it all over to God, just pray.

Jesus is the most important and significant person in all of human history. He was a remarkable man, incredibly kind, very insightful, and taught on love and forgiveness on such a level as to make all other teachers pale by comparison.
In Christianity, Jesus is the creator (John 1:1-3,14; Colossians 1:16-17), God in flesh (John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:9), the Lord to whom we call (1 Corinthians 1:2), the one who bore our sins in His body on the cross (1 Peter 2:24), and the one who enables all who call upon His name (Romans 10:13) to be saved by faith (Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Following is a partial list of some of the miracles of Jesus. It is these miracles that attest to who Jesus is because His remarkable deeds confirm His incredible claim to be God in flesh, the only way to salvation.
Jesus was born of a virgin (Mattew 1:25).
Jesus changed water into wine (John 2:6-10).
Jesus caused the disciples to catch a large load of fish (Luke 5:4-6).
Jesus cast out demons (Matthew 8:28-32; 15:22-28).
Jesus healed lepers (Matthew 8:3; Luke 17:14).
Jesus healed diseases (Matthew 4:23,24; Luke 6:17-19)
Jesus healed the paralytic (Mark 2:3-12).
Jesus raised the dead (Matthew 9:25; John 11:43-44).
Jesus restored sight to the blind (Matthew 9:27-30; John 9:1-7).
Jesus restored cured deafness (Mark 7:32-35).
Jesus fed the multitude (Matthew 14:15-21; Matthew 15:32-38).
Jesus walked on water (Matthew 8:26-27).
Jesus healed the sick (Matthew 8:5-13; 9:22).
Jesus forgave sins (Mark 2:5).
Jesus calmed a storm with a command (Matthew 8:22-27; Mark 4:39).
Jesus was transfigured (Matthew 17:1-8).
Jesus was killed on a cross (Luke 24:20).
Jesus rose from the dead (Luke 24:39; John 20:27).
Jesus appeared to disciples after resurrection (John 20:19).
Jesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9).
Jesus claimed to be God (John 5:18; 8:24; 8:58, see Exodus 3:14).
Jesus said that He alone was the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

That's because you actually still believe that you can make a decision for Christ. He does the choosing, not you.
Fall on your knees and pray for Him to give you a new heart to believe.
If it is given you, you will no longer struggle with doubt.
You will, however, still struggle with sin.

If you really want Jesus Christ in your life, then effort on your part is needed to help you build your faith on rock solid foundations.
This is my suggestion to lighten your dark path -
1. Visit Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament as often as you can. Make each visit 20 mins. Kneel before your Creator and just be!!!
2. Ask your guardian angel, Jesus's Mother and the Saints to help you contemplate Him. They supplicate all our deficiencies and your prayer is heard on high for their sake.
The Catholic way of prayer and worship is VERY VERY SIMPLE AND HUMBLE. Just the way God humbled Himself and became Man! Just the way you are asking people/sinners like us for help/advise.
Visit these sites and study them .....

The Roman Catholic Church is the Church instituted by Jesus Christ handed down to Peter (rock) and his apostles. As written in Matthew; Whosoever sins you (Peter) shall forgive they are forgiven and whosoever sins are retained they shall be retained. (This is the sacrament of Penance/Confession found ONLY in the Catholic church).
This is the Faith in its entirety! Need further info. email me.
I shall remember you in my prayers. All Glory and Praise be to the Immutable Almighty.

Don't commit to Christianity! It's all a lie.
Did you actually hear Satan talk to you and tell you lies... no you didn't, and if you did then it's schizophrenia and not Satan. Satan is mythology, Christianity is based on pagan myths that were plagiarized by Paul and others to form a new religion.

He will bless you when you give him your whole self, as cheesy as it sounds. But, expecting things to be hunky-dory once you commit your life to Him is a BIG misunderstanding. It says in the bible that things arent always going to go your way, but you can trust that with God in control all not-so-good things happen for a special purpose.

There is no other reality then the one you have been shown. You cannot commit because you are double-minded and have not made a decision. As long as you remain sitting on the fence you will be uncomfortable.
