UGH! my camera is making me so mad itsn being so weird. I have an HP Photosmart E317 digital camera and i had like 89 pictures on it and now there are only 82! And before i found out they were missing, I started up my camera and random old pictures for like 4 years ago tht I deleted a lond time ago and my camera said i had 5 pictures, and the ones got deleted were on but none of my other current pictures. So what I did was i turned off my camera and took the memory card out and put it back in, all my current pictures were back besides like 7 of them and they were important. HELP!

Sounds like it's time to reformat your card. Transfer all the pictures you can into your computer then look through the camera menus and find the FORMAT menu. Reformat the card. That should keep old images from resurfacing.

My guess is that when the old images somehow came back, they had the same file names as the ones that disappeared and overwrote those files. I've never heard of a situation like yours before... weird!!

Good luck!

Take administration of your computing device. Use the document supervisor and reproduction each and all of the photos out of your memory card to a sparkling document folder named for the priority and date. pattern: ASUFB09082012 as that's, you photograph archives are no longer prepared and are mixed in with all your different archives under My information. do this on the tip of each taking pictures day and then, as quickly as the photos are wisely on your computing device, format the cardboard utilising the format function on your digital camera
