Hmm...

You could look for a software that would convert the file type so it will be compatible but you originally should have really looked for a camera that worked with Macs.

I'm not an expert on this but I have had these types of road blocks and other electronic headaches. Haha.

You can also contact the place you got it from and ask about if there is any way you can use your camera on your Mac system. Check out the Apple website and ask them too.

There MIGHT be a program you can download on
www.download.com

Good Luck!

What version of the mac os are you using?
If you plug it in via the USB then the camera should come up on the Mac desktop as a removeable drive, click on this and you should open a folder containing the files (JPEGs one would imagine) which you can view and edit with iPhoto.

The reason Mac's aren't mentioned is because they are brilliant and have all sorts of handy drivers built into the OS.

Plug it in and I'll bet you it works the way I've described.

Three possible solutions -

Can you install a Windows partition on your Mac?

Take the camera to a library and see if you can use a PC to copy pics to a portable drive or media card in .jpg format.

Take the camera to a photo processing kiosk or store that does digital processing and transfer to media or email images to your Mac.

Hope this helps! Good luck...
