I've heard that when you go on a diet, you're not supposed to let your stomach get to the point of growling. If not, how *are* you supposed to loose weight? Because that's the only way i can. But I don't continue on letting my stomach growl, once it starts growling, I eat as soon as possible. But when it does growl, I don't eat everything in site. I just eat untill I'm not hungry.

Also, how *do* you know when you're hungry? Because I don't get the hunger pains everyone is talking about. My stomach is either not doing anything or growling. And how do you know when you're not hungry? I'm very confused....PLEASE HELP!!

you are going in the right direction, trying to understand hunger and how your body feels. hunger will not hurt you. the next thing to really focus on is how do certainfoods make you feel...ie how to you feel after you eat an apple, burrito, burger, rice, pie etc. how does the food make you feel?
