LOL, they think that if it isn't beautiful, God didn't make it.

Actually I admire the mechanisms of many unpleasant creatures.

Like the way toxoplamosis infects a mouse's brain, suppressing its natural fear of predators.

Or there's a particular kind of was grub that not only feeds off a living spider, but reprograms the spider's web weaving to benefit the grub.

Or the unpleasant maggot can treat necrotic wounds by not only eating the dead tissue but by secreting a substance that promotes healing.

In short it's not the appeal of the eye that makes me admire these critters, but their ingenious nature. One might almost say . . . . design. *wink*

Modern society separates good and bad. This is the influence of Christianity, I believe. The major idea that Satan is the bad, and God is the good. Our present culture and mindset doesn't allow the majority of the world to accept that All things are by God, or what have you.

Well it says in the bible that god has great gifts and something special waiting on the ones who beleive in him and believe that jesus christ who he sent ( his only begotten son) to earth to be sacrifice for Gods human who he loves so much. It also say the more you suffer on earth because of evil and sin the more gifts you will get. Im a christian so that what i believe. God wants us to look at the beautiful things in life so that we can move on from our past trauma. that's why you probably hear so many good things about God. God is and was. he is both female and male and neither at the same time. What that means is that (my personal interpretation) he understands how humans are and he did come to earth in human form as Jesus to know what it was like to be human.

What I hate is when people describe death as "god works in mysterious ways". Like god, someone they've never met, chose the time for someone to die. If god is that finicky, then he deliberately made me an Atheist. Since Atheists all go to hell, then that means that god is a sadist.

From what I noticed is that Bible Thumpers believe everything beautiful is the work of God and everything ugly is the work of the Devil.

I suppose you're right. We can't deny that God made many things. He made the bee AND the stinger.

Its the old positive negative approach to life

We see it bright and shiny, you see it dull and tarnished.

We see it as we have a future, you see it as "I am gonna get all I can get this time around"

Just another generalization and stereotypical comment. Have you not a better argument for your point.
