You have a full plate right now, so to speak, & I'm sorry for that. I have been so severely depressed to the point of having to be put on an antidepressant. It made a big difference in my life when it came to allowing me to take hold of my life & the negative things that surrounded me. First of all, don't fret over things you have NO control over, as that's just wasted energy. Stop & think about that. Focus your thoughts & energy on the things in your life that you CAN change. You lost your job & finding another one has to be your priority in life right now, because your survival hinges on it. Your cat is in pain, yes, but this too shall pass, & there's not much you can do in that respect. If people in your life are causing you pain, just remember, you can't change people, so move on. Right now, you probably feel as though the weight of the world is on your shoulders & I can relate. Just take one day at a time, & tell yourself that it'll all get better & believe yourself. Take time daily, to get out & go for a walk for an hour or so. It's hard to do when you're depressed, but it's a great way to clear your head & it makes you feel better mentally & physically. Crying is normal when our world seems upside down, but all things will come together, just get your priorities straight & work on those. You'll be a much stronger person in the end. If God brings you to it.....God will get you through it. Smile, it'll get better. :))

I understand what you're going through. When it rains it pours. That happens to me too. Not just one bad thing happens, but the whole roof caves in on me. What I do is feel sad and revel in the moment. You have to get it all out. It's okay to cry and release the initial shock and pressure. Just don't do it too long.
Get back on your feet and tackle one problem at a time. You must prioritize. Feeling sorry for yourself doesn't solve the problems. Most importantly devote your time to finding another job. When you're taking breaks, love your cat until your heart's content. Take care of the other problems when you're not looking for a job.
You have to stay busy. You don't need too much idle time on your hands to feel sorry for yourself. Try not to beat yourself up about things which you cannot change. I hope this helps because these are things I do to help myself from losing it.

well i found just writin everythn down on paper helped me, i have a little book which i draw and write things that are bothering me, then i feel ebtter, i also try to cry and get it all out.
i used to thionk the same, i didnt think i had depression but one minute i would be hyper and very happy the next realy down, now im bein diagnosed with bipolar disorder which would explain why i wud feel realy happy then really sad and low for days.
if you keep getn depressed with life and things that arent aways great but probably shudnt get you down that much then you shud think about seein ur doctor, it realy can only go downhill and become uncontrollable.
just make sure you have things you can look forward to, and plan fun things ahead then you can turn to them wen u feel low.
i hope ur kitten wil get better which im sure he will they tend to bounce back, also i hope u get a job; that can be a big factor of depression so try to keep ur chin up im in the same situation at the moment.
good luck

Try EFT and Reiki. Do some deep breathing and of course crying helps up to a point.
Try Gentian a good Bach Flower Essence available at most healthfood stores. I am sure you will be OK soon. Be optimistic.

It's all in the 'Power of Attraction'... you attract into your life what you dwell on...
You need to focus on all the good things. like your cat being OK. that you are alive and halthy, that you have friends, etc.
Instead of thinking "I cannot find a job" write a list of things you would like to have in a job, then read it to yourself, or you angels, or your belief entitiy, or the cat... everyday.
I do this for everything I want in life... it worked when looked for my husband, my house, my last job, everything I have now was through learning to attract it.
Good luck and feel better...

You may or may not be depressed. You could just be mourning from your recent loses. However, medication is a reasonable thing to consider if your symptoms persist. Otherwise exercise, social contacts, church, prayer, meditation and time may be helpful.
I will say a prayer for you. God Bless.

DO NOT take anti-depressants. Keep a diary and talk it out with a close friend or family member. My mom took anti-depressants for 8 years and she said that she was just numb to the world. It really messes you up.
