I am part of the Christian cult and dare say that Muslims have in their Quaran commandments to slay those who are against Allah. As a member of the Christian cult, I follow only the Bible and Jesus, which tells me to turn the other cheek. As far as the most damage goes...I would have to say that those who have claimed to be Christian, but have not proven by their actions that they are, would have to take the blame for that as a whole. In present time, so-called Christians smoke, drink, do drugs, rape, molest, fornicate and all kinds of evil things. Please don't let people give you a bad sense of what Christianity is all about. Christianity is a cult and, when followed, harms no one. Calling someone a member of a cult is not a derogatory thing--at least by its' original meaning.

Oh My Goodness!! lol I have had a lot of fun reading the answers for this question. Many have made me laugh, but one thing stands out and that is prejudice. Many answers reflect bias or prejudice. Look up cult on dictionary.com, and you will find a variety of definitions. We can consider a group that meets to walk every week a cult. lol Oh well. Ignorance is scary. Ignorance breeds hatred. Hitler was considered a genius, evil etc.. the truth is he was ignorant when it came to mankind. It is not the Faith or God that is responsible for the ignorant actions of people-it is the person acting on his own free will.

I can't distinguish the difference in the two except for the time periods in which each shed the most blood. Besides the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, Islam has kept it's violence pretty localized within the borders of it's own countries. Christianity on the other hand, has brought it's violence across oceans and conquored and destroyed many civilizations and empires in it's quest for world domination. So my thoughts are christianity is the most dangerous to the world, Islam is the most dangerous to Israel and industrialized christian countries.

historically Christianity is older and has done more collateral damage. Hitler- crusades- the event where they burned people at the stake for being witches. The original teachers of the religion- Jesus and Muhammad if ou research actual quotes for reliable sources in ti entirety did not practice horrific crimes against humanity or intended their teaching for this purpose. People have takes prejudice and fear to the next level and misinterpreted the teachings. The religions are not bad- the people have made ramifications to suit their prejudices.

christianity is not a cult is a way of living by example a life style everyone is welcomed its not a group of certain individuals we prefer not be labeled as a cult .. just like i am sure you prefer not to be labeled as intelligent or someone with any common sense ... You choose what religion makes you feel content someone who follows nothing and has no beliefs or anything to stand for is someone with no direction call us religious people whether Islamics or christians a cult but we call you a no one with no back bone nothing to stand for nothing to believe in or hold on to .. a lost Soul ... at least we stand for something ...

As a Christian who is not afraid of seeking truth, I believe in looking at all the facts without prejudice. True Christianity is not scary, for it is based upon God's love for His creation -- His love for humanity in particular -- and it is also based upon love for God and love for our neighbors. "Perfect love casts out fear", so there is absolutely nothing scary about true Christianity.
I will let the source I've put here provide a thorough discussion on some of the differences between Christianity and Islam. Enjoy the read. :-)

Do not blame the religion for what the people have done. Those people who have chosen to be violent and cruel will be, whether they use Christianity or Islam or Judaism as they're excuse, it is still the person who has done wrong, not the religion.
