Give me a break! What a sexist question. Hellloooooo, this is the year 2007! Girlfriends shouldn't be the ones training over cooking, cleaning and home economics - if anything, it's the *men* that need training. In fact, studies show that women of any nationality do *MORE* around the house then men. Studies ALSO show if men would pitch in too and help clean the house with women, then the relationship would be more happy. Women and men should be at EQUAL terms, always - whether it's taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning, etc.

Everyone needs to respect women more. In fact, we're the ones making only 69 cents an hour to men, who get a dollar an hour rate for the same exact job. We also bear children - painful enough? Women and men are still not equal in society. The only thing I can think of on the top of my head that puts women on advantage is car insurance (our rates are less because studies show we get into less accidents).

Simply stated, there's no reason for you to be ungrateful of women.

I don;t think these are bad skills to have and learn but they are needed for everyone, not just females!

Well, as a woman, I have always wanted to make sure i"ve got the skills to take care of a family and a husband, and I think I've done a pretty good job of it. But I think the kind of girl you need will be one that's already got all those skills, or wants to have them. Otherwise, you're oging to have a gf who just doesn't want to do those things and isn't willing to learn. You shouldn't be the one doing the training though. Just find a girl that already has those qualities or is working on them. All the best.

if you study different cultures, asian women especially Filipinas are being trained by their parents for those things you mentioned. it's different in every culture. western women are more liberated and independent that they will not do these things for their men, only a few, i guess.
