Okay, this is a serious question.

The Bible says in the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.
But it does not say anything about creating the Universe, unless that is what the Heavens refers to. Also, the Bible does not mention anything about other planets.
We know there are tons and tons of other planets in other galaxies that we don't even know about, and the odds of life being on those other planets is very possible.

Since people when the Bible was written years ago didn't really know about all the other planets and the Universe, is that why it was never mentioned in the Bible?

Are the other planets mentioned and I just missed it while reading the Bible??
Also, if in the beginning, if creating the heavens actually refers to the universe, and if you die and go to heaven, does that just mean you're spirit is just floating around in the universe??

Serious answers please!!!!!
Thanks in advance...

I guess I'm curious if each planet would then have gotten their own version of the Bible, since our Bible is only about our Earth...
What makes Earth so special?

Could the reason that the bible never mentioned Dinasours be because when the Bible was written 2000 years ago, Dinasours were not known to have ever existed??

The other planets were created on day 4. The word dinosaur wasn't coined until the mid 1800's so you wouldn't expect to find that word in the text. But the Bible does refer to dragons(an early word for dinosaurs), and in the Book of Job, describes dinosaurs in chapter 41 & 42.

At the time that stuff was written, they had no idea that Earth was a planet, nor that planets were anything other than stars that moved around a bit.

It was all lights in the sky to them. Small wonder that they had just the two categories: heaven - the place with the lights, the sun, and Heaven itself; and Earth - a flat disk on which people lived.

Think of it this way! The bible is a telescope of a view, the bible never mentions dionsarus on earth but we know they were here. Sometimes there are going to be things that werent included in the bible. Apperently Moses didn't find it important to add any of the other things that God made? just including that He made everything!

The other planets are considered part of the Heavens.

As God told Moses: "And, behold, thou art my son; wherefore look, and I will show thee the workmanship of mine hands; but not all, for my works are without end, and also my words, for they never cease." And continued . . . "And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten."

"God created the heavens"...BTW good for you to ask questions. Keep asking them until you free your mind from the prison of nonsensical religion.

All they are going to say is "God created heavens".

And that accounts for trillions of galaxies and exo-planets.

Bible is a very narrow minded, very unexciting kinda book.

Reality is much better.
