the 7-10 pounds in your first answer is a good estimate.
Personally I would guess anywhere between 5-15, because people's body's are different in terms of responding to a sudden change in eating habits and exercise. It also depends how motivated you keep yourself and how hard you work yourself.
Run hard, run often, and eat small, but healthy. Shoot for 1200 cals and take a multivitamin, too.
I'm sure you already look great but looking down at the scale and seeing you weigh 10 pounds less is great for confidence.

I would say you should try to lose about 3lbs per week. which in 3 weeks would = about 9lbs.
I'm struggling to lose weight. I really have to have more self control (with food) and will power (to exercise)...
My mom constantly tells me that I should try to lose 5lbs a week. I personally do not think 5lbs per week is healthy at all (And i've heard from other people that its not healthy also)..
Possible on the other hand..i'm sure its possible to lose 4-5lbs per week.
If I were you I would stick to trying to lose about 2.5-3.5lbs per week. 3.5lbs per week x 3 weeks = 10.5lbs at the end of 3 weeks.
Do it by eating super healthy foods (Raw fruits and veggies, whole grains/high fiber foods, and some sourt of protein ((beans/nuts)) )
And try to exercise a minnimum of 10 minutes per day.
Also, drink lots of cold water..
I joined weight watchers a while back (Its a fantastic program! I was losing almost 4lbs per week) its just very time consuming. ((With being a full time college student and working full time, it just wanst working for me. Once I am finished with school I am planning on going back))
Good luck. And dont lose weight just to impress some guy - get healthy for yourself.

The maximum you can lose and remain healthy, that is, getting the nutrition your body needs, is 3lbs./week. So in 3 weeks - 9 lbs.

Safely, 6-10 pounds. If you push it, perhaps 15-20, but you will be putting yourself at risk and will almost definitely gain it all back shortly thereafter.

There is no max amount. You could lose a little or you could lose a hell of a lot of pounds. But depending on your size and figure would tell how much you should lose (if any)
