When Madonna used a black man JESUS, in the song Like a Prayer video clip?
and when the crosses where all on fire?
Did any of you find what Madonna did in anything she had done in the 80's offensive?

In the 80's they did... for it to have the same shock value today, it would have to be a black jesus britany spears sex scene...

Why would the black man be obscene? There's a lot that's potentially offensive about Madonna but why would you find the fact that there was a black man in her video offensive. Weird.

Madonna is all about the shock factor. Whatever gets people all in a tither keeps her name and her face in the public eye. It's all about the almighty $$ for her. Offensive? Yes...she makes it work for her.
EDIT
I don't think a black Jesus is offensive....I just think Madonna's tasteless form of entertainment is offensive. Burning crosses? What do you think that stands for?

Same as I do with obscene Christian people, I say to them: "Hey, I think you have enough brain power to at least swear in a creative manner, rather than using the same words over and over again.:" Then I smack them upside the head for good measure.

Madonna is a has been and its time for her to quit being ridiculous and start being a full time mother. She is very rich now and its time to pak it all in and raise her kids and forget doing ignorant things. She would be more enjoyed if she worked in a homeless shelter or free clinic.

Personally, I find Madonna offensive. She's got talent, but refuses to use any of it.

I could care less of how she had Jesus portrayed but then again I'm atheist.

Now, I do think she has much more money than she deserves (as do all Hollywood celebrities.)
