Hello,
You have some mental reassurance and faith that things will work out and you'll persevere with his help but you sure as heck are not always happy. A believer does not usually escape the trials, tribulations, pain and disappointments in life which everyone suffers.

That's really a bit of a false statement, isn't it? From what I see on TV, all of these people who trust the lord are always crying because something's wrong with them that they just can't fix themselves.
Even when I did go to church with my wife, I always saw sad people crying for some heavenly hand-out. The only people that were really smiling were the pastors and their clergy, along with the few nuts that were running around the church screaming or rolling on the floor babbling. Obviously, they were happy for different reasons (one is watching the money pile up, the other has gone temporarily insane).

Proverbs 14:21
He that despises his neighbor sins, but he that has mercy on the poor, happy is he.
Proverbs 3:18
She (wisdom & the commandments of God) is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her
and happy is every one that retains her.
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life;
and he that wins souls is wise.

Um...from what I could see...no, a lot of people seem to "trust in the Lord" but they don't live in bliss, quite the opposite if you ask me....and they're never really happy, because when something doesn't go their way they get whinny about it. (Before ANYONE thinks that I'm talking about them, I'm talking about my own experiences with Christan's so stop being so stuck-up and thinking every ones talking about you!)
