Hey Everyone!

I'm a female, 21 and 6'4. Recently (as in about 2 months ago) started running/power walking for about 90mins a day/7x a week.
Since I've started this I've been eating a fair bit more and seen my weight shoot from 189lbs to just over 200lbs this morning. Now I'm curious, could this be muscle or is it fat? i dont have any "love handles" or anything, my workout shorts are getting a little tighter in the thigs tho...
Any insight would be great here! Just so I know its not all in my head...(or is it? haha)

thanks!

Marissa

Muscle weights more than fat that is going to be why you are gaining wight over losing it.

The advantage to putting on the muscle mass is that muscle also will burn more calories. I think you are build up enough now if you kinda back up the truck on working out and work on your diet a little more than the exercise you will start to lose the weight. Keep workign out, but not as often or as hard. Enought to maintain what you have and not add more.

If u keep track of ur measurements in addition to ur weight, it will be easier to automatically get answer to ur query.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
