Candy, Magick is neither Black nor White, it's just Magick. Having practiced Witchcraft for more than 35 years I know a LOT of spells. However, I have only USED spells 3 times in that entire period. Spellwork is usually a means of LAST resort, used after ALL other means have been tried and been unsuccessful. Why use a stick of dynamite to kill a fliy when patience and a good fly swatter will do the job and create a lot less mess to cleanup up afterwards?

A Wiccan friend of mine once put a spell of protection around me. Basically, you light some candles, say some words, and imagine a white light surrounding you that no bad spirits can penetrate. Of course, this only works if you believe it works, just like prayer and lucky horseshoes. But who knows, maybe it did work because since I did that and left the church for good I've never been afraid of or attacked by 'bad spirits' as I was told I had been when I was a christian and anything went wrong in my life.

ex-wiccan, white and black magic is still magic, they come from the same source, they therefore they are still wrong. To be white takes so much of energy out of you that its better to let god use you, its easier to heal people and be able to walk the next day then to be a witch and try to cast a white spell and be laid up in the bed the next day unable to move.
The rule of three can still get thee in white magic.

I once knew a white witch. Does that count? I wish I did know some good spells so I could cast it upon all the funny people on Yahoo Answers to make them even funnier for my entertainment.

I do not know any and I do not want to. Messing with magic be it good or bad is messing with God and defying his wishes. i would be very careful before I dive into this if I were you, as you my only be joking but you are inviting evil and demons into your life by casting spells.

White magick is magick that is for the good and used for the benefit of others through your life. It's basically....sharing the light. If you want to cast spells I suggest you learn about the craft first, my dear. Read up on consecrating, cleansing, casting circles, etc...etc...

In Paganism there is no "white or black" magik just like there is no Satan. It is all in the person. You either use it for good or bad. "If it harm none do what you will".
