"Any woman who prays with her head unveiled dishonors her head. It is the same as if her head were shaven, for if a woman will not veil herself then she should cut off her hair. But if it is disgraceful for a woman to be shorn or shaven , let her wear a veil. (1 Corenthians 11 :5).
Whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
(MATT 5:28-29).
TIT002:005 - To be discreet, chaste, keepers at HOME, good, OBEDIENT to their HUSBANDS...
1PE 3:001 - Likewise, ye wives, be in SUBJECTION to your own HUSBANDS. -------
Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in SUBMISSION, as the Law says. -- 1 Corinthians 14:34
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach [didaskein], nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." (1 Timothy 2:11-12)
Ecclesiastes 7:26 KJV: And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her but she will catch whoever continues to sin. (GOD'S WORD®)
"I permit no woman to teach or have authority over men". --1 Timothy 2:11-14
Genesis 3:16 ----Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy pain and thy conception; in pain thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

The bible is a work of fiction, so it really doesnt matter what it says. And for those who live by it, they just selectively pick out whatever passages they want to back up whatever position they want.
For a good example of this, see your own question.

The Church had to find a way to 'controle' women, and what better way than through the holy book. Soooo... after some twisting of words when transalted... voila!
the Men of the Church were scared of women. Women are very mystical and powerful to men. Just look at your own quote from Matthew... "gauge out your eye from lusting after a woman"? Wow... I am pretty powerful... and true Christian men should be blind by the time they are 19 years old.
The Church was on a power trip when translating the bible back in King James' time. Why do you think they made reading illegal in some areas, dumbed down the people and then put them in churches for long periods of time, in uncomfortable pews and poking them with long poles to keep them awake. Power trip.

I don't care what ancient peoples believed their supernatural beings thought proper. Having a penis between one's legs does not make one intellectually, morally, or spiritually superior. Women are not intellectually less than men, so there is no need for them to act like they are. I do not look upon my wife as an inferior or expect her to submit to my will. She's a person with her own thoughts, needs, and desires. I refuse to rear my granddaughters to believe that they are "meant" to be submissive and subjugated to males.

The word "subjugate" is never used in the NT in reference to the relationship between a woman and her husband. Submissive, yes, but there's a reason. I refer you to your own reference to I Peter 3:
1 Peter 3:1 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4 Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 5 For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
There is a reason, a purpose, and an appropriate way to be submissive. It is vitally important, also, to remember that men are commanded NOT to lord over women. We are equals in God's eyes, and we need to remember that. I see that you left off this reference:
Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
And this one:
Colossians 3:19
Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
I submit to you that when men have recognized women and granted them the place that God intended for them to have that then, and only then, will you have any justification for insisting on women submitting themselves to that position. Women's Liberation resulted from men being ignorant of the place women are to have in relation to us. If the reverse were true, there'd most definitely have been a Men's Liberation movement, and it would have been bloody.

Depending on your definition of "subjugated", yes. Women are not slaves, they are partners with their husbands. As with any partnership, the roles of the individuals are different. There has to be a leader, which God said is the man.
You also are leaving out the requirements for the husbands (as everyone seems to do with this topic):
1Pe 3:7 ¶ Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Women are to submit to the spiritual leadership of their husbands who are supposed to be under the Lord Jesus and who are to love their wives as their own bodies. Wives do not have to submit to a husband who commands the wife to do something that God has said not to do. If the husband wants the wife to tell a lie about something for instance, then the wife has to refuse because God has said not to tell lies.

We are to be his help meet. If a man thinks he can rule us like some boss rules there employees then that is wrong. God told man to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. The greater command is on the man. God didnt tell women to love cause he knew we love easliy. If man is loving his wife then it is easy for a woman to submit. A marriage is man giving 100% and a woman giving 100%.

Luckily for me, I don't believe in the Bible. Did you know that at the time, a woman had to marry the man her father choose for her? Do you want to return to that "biblical" tradition too?
