Ruth, Ruth
Wherever you go, there you will find me, wherever you lodge, that is my home, wherever you die, there I'll be buried, your people are mine, your God is my God.
Do not ever urge me to go, or desert your side and leave you....
(from memory)
Thank you for a nice, peaceful, and good question.

That's the Book of Ruth. Chapter 1, verse 16.
It's the most sapphic moment in the Hebrew Scriptures, and is perfect for Christian or Jewish weddings of two women.

Ruth 1, as a matter of fact. Naomi is advising Ruth to return to her own people after husband had died. Ruth, who loved Naomi, refused and would not leave, saying , "Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me," Ruth 1:16-17

Ruth. The book in the old testament is also named Ruth. She is speaking to her mother-in-law, Naomi. I know these lines are used a lot in weddings. Naomi is a widow, both of her sons die also. She is left with her 2 daughters-in-law. She tells them to return to their own people and families. One goes back, but Ruth stays with Naomi.

Are you thinking of the book of Ruth? Ruth 1:16...I will go wherever you go and live wherever you live. Not sure of this is the passage you are thinking of.

I'm not sure. But Proverbs says it's better to go live alone in the woods than to try to live with a contentious woman.
