Just for fun.

OK Rachel - For you:

There was this egg that fell on the hood of a car in the hot summer sun. The shell broke and spilled onto the hood. It had lost its focus of staying unbroken. Its hard work led it to it's fried end. Without a shell to hold it together, the egg could not speak its story. Instead it fried in the hot sun.

OK so I'm not through my coffee yet. I'll come up with a better one later.

A man built a fire in the neighborhood. Placed a metal grate over the fire and took out a package of Bratwurst and began cooking them over the fire. The delicious odor attracted a great many people, who gathered around, lusting after some of the Brats. And LO, a woman came forward bearing a bowl of potato Salad. The man invited her to join him at the fire and they BOTH shared the Brats and the Potato Salad while the rest, who brought nothing to the feast could only look on, hungrily. This is like a meaningful conversation. Many are attracted by the pleasant air of friendly banter and desire to join in but, ONLY those who have something GOOD to add to it are invited to participate.

Brightest Blessings,

Takes more creativity than I've got. I may borrow a few from my ancestors, the Pennsylvania Dutch, if I think of it.

Abie had an old cabinet in the barn that he used to store tools. One day, a city antique dealer was cruising the neighborhood and spied the old cabinet. He recognized it as a valuable antique, but he figured these dutchmen don't know anything about their heritage, so I can pick this up cheap. Imagine using such a fine piece for tools in a barn!

So he went up to Abie and engaged him in small talk for awhile, and gradually came around to the old cabinet. "You know," he said, "this old piece isn't going to hold up much longer, and one day it will crash down and all your tools will be spilled over the floor. But it does have unusual legs. I'd like to put those legs on a piece I am restoring in my shop. I'll buy the cabinet from you for $50, which will be enough for you to get something new to hold your tools, and we will both have what we want.

Abie, being no fool, bargained until the dealer agreed to pay $100. The dealer smiled to himself, because he knew he could get several thousand for the cabinet once it was refinished.

"OK, we have a deal," he said. "Just let me go up to the road and get my truck, and you unload the tools in the meantime." "OK," agreed Abie, and turned back to the cabinet. But when the dealer was out of sight, he had a better idea. "He says he only wants the legs. I don't care if the cabinet is lower."

When the dealer returned, he found Abie smiling at him and handing him four legs, sawed off from the cabinet.

Now, tell me, who was the fool?

He taught in parables with a view to place Christianity in easiest words, no longer simply by fact human beings have been stupid, yet that Christianity replace right into a clean thought interior the days of His ministry, and individuals mandatory to understand the intensity of its' actuality with little or no actual info, different than by his potential and demonstration, plus an information of the elementary tenets of Christianity.

My dear Emperor friend:
It is Friday. My brain is fried. I can't focus on work. All I can think of is the impending weekend, and sleep. I don't even know if I could come up with a decent parable at the top of my game!

There was a dog who swapped her freedom for two square meals, a roof over her head for her and her son and regular loving attention from her owners. She played happily in the yard with her son, while her owners fawned on her and scratched her behind the ears and threw her ball for her to retrieve. Then she suddenly ran off; her son, who was half grown but still a pup, ran after her into the woods. They were gone for over an hour, while the distraught owners donned protective gear and set off into the high weeds and woods to find them. Eventually they returned, pleased with themselves but filthy and covered with ticks. The owners were angry and chastised them bitterly and put them up without ceremony (but after de-ticking). The next time the two dogs were let out of their enclosure, they wagged their tails and were happy to see the owners who had food for them and companionship (but were also nervous that they'd run away again). The dogs played happily and seemed to have no memory that they had done wrong and that they had been severely punished for it. They gave perfect love, and their owners gave it back to them. The thought for the day: A new start for a new day; dogs do not hold grudges.

Because to speak in parables would be like the Jedi master who was above all else, and none could touch his wisdom. There came a man with a quest, and he left without resolve saying, this wisdom is too great for me. Who can attain it?

Today parables are spoken to those who think it is a parable. Even the simple and obvious truth seems to be a parable to most.

Lounging is a man's game. Onward to the heaven outside of existence for further impurity and pleasure. Never correct the sinful, they learn.

Is it not he who gives all things to which you are able to sit back and tap on the world's machine of life. The communication of both good and evil be done there. Would you not choose to glorify him or yet the ruler of the worldly things with it. If it is he whom you receive all things, should you not be thankful and choose his way or shall you choose your own way, which pleases the latter.

You're right that is fun!
