No you do not achieve salvation upon hearing the words of Jesus. He spoke to many and did miracles a plenty and still people turned away. You must act upon the words of Jesus and believe in his sacrifice for your life.

Oh, now what was Pavlov's dog's name anyways? doesn't ring a bell. I know it was not funny and neither was yours.

At the judgment seat of Christ, we will be held accountable for every word we ever spoke. Every single word and thought
will be brought to the table as evidence. Those who have been washed in the blood of the lamb will not be judged. I hope you to will choose to be forgiven. God Bless You.

Acts 2:37-38
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Oh wait, you said 'salivation' not 'salvation'. I didn't realize that you were just a dog waiting for a savory treat that you could devour without regard.

Never mind.
