"But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. ------ (1 Timothy 2:12-14 - HOLY BIBLE)

These are definately manmade opinions as you can see the obvious bias.

God placed Adam as authority over Eve. It was his job to tell Eve not to eat of the fruit. She turned to him and offered him the fruit and he did take it. Adam blamed Eve.When God asked Adam what he had done Adam said the woman made him do it. Please reread you Bible because God blamed them both and held them both responsible.

I suppose at first blush it may look that way. It helps to remember, however, that the apostle Paul (who wrote these words) was under divine inspiration. But scriptures plainly show that both Adam and Eve were guilty. Thus, they were both punished. As for the inspired command at 1 Timothy, the apostle Paul is pointing out that women are not allowed to exercise authority over a man or to teach "within the congregation." This is an important qualification to keep in mind because the scriptures also show that women do teach. Compare, for instance, Acts 18:24-26 where both Aquila and Priscilla (husband and wife) took the learned Apollos into their company (that is, outside the synagogue) and expounded the word of God more correctly to him. Moreover, that Christian women are commanded to teach can be seen in the words of Matthew 28 where Christ assigns the teaching, preaching and disciple-making work to his followers – male and female. Indeed, the Psalms speaks of the "women telling the good news (gospel) to be a large army."

But Paul assists us in recognizing that Eve failed to submit to her husbandly head. Had she consulted with her husband in the first place, she may not have taken so rash – and so fatal – a step. Satan knew what he was doing – he approached Eve when she was NOT with her husband. Eve was deceived. Adam, however, who also was guilty of sin, knew exactly what he was doing. Eve was deceived but Adam loved his wife more than he loved his God.

That is interesting. You are reading it differently than I.

This scripture is about teaching and having authority. Two reasons are given for this to be given to men:
1. men were created before the woman.
2. the woman Eve was deceived, thus not as astute as her husband perhaps?
-----
Where does it blame her for the sin? I don't see that. I see that it shows that Adam sinned willfully while she did because of being tricked. Doesn't this mean that Adam is at fault?

Even Paul's letter to the Roman's verify this by showing that death entered through Adam -- nowhere does this blame Eve for it, nowhere.

Adam was with Eve when Eve was tempted by the serpent but Adam did not exercise his authority in the situation and kept quiet. He did not stop the serpent from tempting Eve and Eve from disobeying God but joined her in doing so. Adam was more to be blamed in this situation. The mention of Adam and Eve who were husband and wife in the verse quoted by you means that a wife should not teach or exercise authority over her husband and is not about any woman doing the same to any man.. The husband is head of the wife.

No bias, you haven't looked at the WHOLE of the subject.
Eve was deceived, but it was to ADAM that God gave the command. Their eyes were not opened until after they had BOTH eaten.
Eve must have been told by Adam.
The reference in the first part of this verse is to the purpose for which woman was made. As a helper for the man. Like it or not, that is the truth.

What Paul says about Eve is true. She was deceived by Satan, then she gave of Adam to eat. But Eve does not get the complete blame. Ultimately the responsibility still falls to the man. When God came walking through the garden he did not call out to Eve, He called out to ADAM. The man or the head, is held accountable when it comes down to it.

No these is not man made opinions, it is just that you don't know how to read it. The Sin first came through The serpent which was an upright creature before the curse, It came between the serpent & Eve. & Not Adam & Eve, Scriptures does not go contrary one to another. Only peoples interpretations does.

Not put blame on Eve, but she was easily deceived and of course her news would not be the truth. Adam willingly followed Eve.

Yada Yada Yada! The original sin is Adam's . He was first born and the man in charge as God had designated him. He failed in protecting Eve from evil and allowed her to be overcome. Read the whole passage again and maybe an old testament study would help. Try gracethrufaith.com.

Because it's based off the ancient Greek myth of Pandora's box. As religions change, we keep adapting the stories to take place in more familiar settings.

First of all, it is both the Christian bible, the Hebrew bible and the bible believed by Moslems also.

Secondly, the Holy Spirit simply records the reality that occurred in the Garden of Eden. The Holy Spirit was an eyewitness to the event.
