Specific occupational safety glasses will have special coatings or tints to protect against specific radiation. If you are exposed to radiation ask your health and safety committee what kind of protection you need.

I doubt it. Even sunglasses can't protect your eyes from radiation exposure. However, sunglasses can help with exposure from the suns' harmful rays.

i don't think so. but sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful UV rays, so they don't harm your eyes that bad. its kind of like sunscreen for your eyes, but it doesn't totally protect your eyes.

yes, a little. most lens have this special effect that, dun u notice u sometimes see green light on it? thats the "effect". haha =]
