How has technology assisted in the research on, and/or prevention of Skin Cancer?

Apart from melanoma, most skin cancers are sun-damage related. and by protecting your skin with sun screens, large hats, long sleeved shirts, and just saying out of it, you will go a long way in preventing any skin cancers... Actinic Keritosis is the beginning of cell differentiation... scaly or dark patches that continue to flake, or bleed are consider suspicious. Google it for more info.
