I would recommend "In His Steps" by Charles Sheldon. "The Cost of Discipleship" by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. "Mere Christianity" by C. S. Lewis.

This book gives you a better quality of life, based on God's Word.
I'm on the last chapter, and I'm excited about starting again when I finish!
This book will 1. help you gain confidence
2. help cease those negative thoughts that keep you back from doing the things YOU want.
3. Bring you into a tighter relationship with God - you'll depend on Him more.
4. Plus you'll have more knowledge of how important is to stay close to God if you want a successful, happy life. - it works.
This book is incredible. John Hagee's books are also recommendable.

Wild at heart by John Eldridge is a great book. Keep reading the Bible, and get in a group of other believers. Hang out with them other than at church... it will help, continue to pray.

Here is a link to Shepherds Chapel by Dr. Arnold Murray, he teaches the Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse.
He is good for beginners, and those who are struggling.
