Based on Scriptures we should pray all the time, more in the Spirit:
Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayers and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints –
1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing

Yes I pray both in good times and bad. Bad times especially, that is when I most need him close to me. In good times, I just thank him and let him know how much I appreciate everything he does.

Ofcourse....u need to pray at both times....in bad times...u ask for help...in good times....you thank God for his blessings and for providing that help...otherwise, wouldnt u feel a bit like a hypocrite for praying only in bad times?

Erika, I am in prayer all through out my waking hours. Not on bended knee (they don't work well anymore).
I talk to The Father all day long. So many out their in need of prayer & I do feel His presence around me when I am troubled and I pray for His Guidance & I leave the burden with Him and trust Him to answer my Prayer as best He sees fit. His Will Be Done, Not Mine. When I am Happy & Joyous it is because Christ is in My Life and I am so very Grateful for my many Blessings and I tell him so. God is Good !!!
God Bless You, Erika~~~~~jill

I like to pray, I should pray more, but I don't have the discipline to make it a regular occurrence. But when I do pray, I ask for guidance and I thank God for my blessings.

No. Prayer is not one of my terms for what I do. I meditate, and I suppose some people do not distinguish between that and prayer. I do invocations and spells, which correspond somewhat to the Christian idea of prayer. But my mother, who was a Methodist Sunday school teacher, said that prayer is talking to God and meditation is listening to God. I suppose I do talk to one god or goddess or another at times, even make petitions, so if you want to call that prayer, you have my permission. But that's not what I call it.
