Most of the time infactuation is physical only, in other words you dream about his face or his body or having sex with him, stuff like that. If your falling in love with him you will be dreaming of him holding you close to him and kissing him softly and looking into his eyes for no reason without saying a word. You will feel it in your heart when he leaves to go home not in your mind.

Good question.
I think they are about the same. Just that Infatuation doesn't last. Falling for somebody big time may last and the effects are lifetime.

That's what Infatuation is, Falling for somebody big time as you put it. It is an illogical and unreasoned passion based on sexual attraction. I think it happens to all of us at some point in our lives.

Time.Honestly it is time because in the beginning we are head over heals and impressed with good looks, the rush of finding each other and hopes that it will last. This is normal but to really love someone you have to know them and how they will react in situations and will the excitement last, will you become closer and learn to count on each other, become best friends.

It's really hard to tell you what it feels like and it's different for everyone. When it happened and I fell you just know it. It feels different and you will feel it in your heart. It's really hard to explain it but as you get older you will tell the difference between the two.

When you fall for someone big time, you'll get cramps behind the knees and a burning desire to sit down.

one doesnt!
look at it this way;
we meet, theres an attraction, X many minutes later your down and dirty... thats animal magic... we go thru this many times, until we find the one we want to stay with... and lust becomes a deep seated love.
love is like a heroin habit, it doesnt happen instantly, you have to work at it. and marriages/relationships can be just as destructive...
and infatuation is usually applied to love struck teenagers... in older folks its called stalking!

infatuation is where you are near the point of stalking, i.e got loads of pictures, write about them, talk about them, make friends they have, go where they go, collect stuff they have touched.... falling for someone is where you dont think about them all the time but they are in your mind alot, you get embarrassed or blush when you see them and you admire them from afar.
