My father's son is appealing the amount of money that he has to pay for our son. The amount that he has to pay is not enough to cover my son's daycare or help me with a home for him. What can I do to get the amount increased>

I'm confused, your fathers son would be your brother, why would he have to pay for your son???

You have to take him back to family court. The court will require him to provide tax returns, pay stubs, etc. to prove his income. Child support is determined by the noncustodial parent's total income, not on how many bills he has, or what he has left to live on after he pays his child support. There are some deadbeats who will quit a job just so they can go into court and say they aren't working and need the payments reduced. Courts are getting very savvy about this, thus the requirement for tax returns, not just the last two months pay stubs. Wish the courts had taken child support more seriously back when I needed it! Anyway, good luck.
