Well I'm a 20 year old female traveling from San Antonio TX to Pensacola FL. I have to transfer in Houston TX.

What is the biggest size bag you can take on the bus?
I'm really paranoid about leaving my stuff under the bus. When I get off at Houston I know I have to take my own luggage out and wait for my next bus. Will the driver give me enough time to get my stuff out from underneath? Will the driver open the compartments or will I have to?
Any tips? I'm getting anxious about my stuff getting stolen. Please help <3

All your questions are easily answered. They will help you with your baggage. You will have plenty of time between buses to transfer your stuff. The under carriage is extremely safe for you luggage and you will not get ripped off and your baggage will not go missing. This is much easier that going by air. It is all right there with you and you can watch it being put on and taken off the bus. good luck The best tip I can give you is to mello out. No worries girl!

I have used Greyhound several times. There is a size limit as far as luggage goes, but unless your bringing an over sized hockey bag, you shouldn't have a problem. All your luggage will have to go under the bus, except for a bag you'll being on with you. You have to place your bag under the bus and when you get to Houston, the driver will open the doors and you'll have to find your bag and get it yourself. You will have enough time to get everything, provided your bus isn't late arriving there, and your other bus hasn't left. As long as your with your bag(when its not under the bus) at all times, you wont have to worry about it being stolen. Best of luck to ya!
