For my friend who had a .45 blood alcohol reading yesterday, it meant his liver and kidneys quit working, he halucinated that people were coming through his walls to steal his things from his home, he could still carry on a conversation and try to be a considerate host, offering to make iced tea for the people trying to take him to the emergency room. He is now in a local ICU on kidney dialysis. His doctors have said to call in his family and friends because most likely he will not live through another night. He was supposed to get married in three weeks.
