BRUCE LEE but he was just using previous very old concepts that have existed in every martial art
The idea of mind of no mind and the formless form existed hundreds of years before he came along.
He failed to mention that you have to practice form or a style for a lot of years in order to have something to break "free" of.His own philosophy of martial excellence was based on 15 to 20 years study of form.
He didn't just wake up one day with a good idea.

And it is written as a motto in chinese characters around his red and orange Jeet Kune Do emblem.
