first of all - Special K is one of the worst cereals with the best marketing strategy for which people like you fall and end up gaining weight
second - when you deprive your body all you lose is water weight and muscle not fat and slow down your metabolism contributing to yo-yo cycle and making body fat percentage higher.
if you are over 150lbs your body needs 70cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1680cal/day.
To lose fat you have to make just a slight deficit in daily caloric intake and do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min. And you have to eat 5-6 small meals a day so your blood sugar doesnt crash and body gets calories when it needs them.

Well, it is 600 calories a day, and that is about 400-900 less than you need every day, depending on your calorie needs. You will probably loose 25 lbs. in a month, but you will probably loose muscle, and fat together, instead of just very little fat. You need to introduce more protein and other nutrients into this diet, if you want better results.

When you start eating what you want to eat again after your diet is complete, your metabolism may be slow, from eating like this, and you may just regain the weight you lost, in the end.

Finally, this is not a realistic goal, if you are looking to loose weight, set up smaller goals.

Hate to break the cold hard truth, but this diet is a recipe for failure.

Um, this is just stupid. First, you're better off eating 5-6 times a day, and I'd not go under 1000 calories. Second, you need protein: Special K alone is just silly. And, yes, you will find yourself with little or no energy shortly. When I was young and stupid I did something even more extreme: mainly liquid diet and 15 miles of jogging a day. Yes, I lost weight, and was completely useless at doing anything other than lying on the sofa.

i hate to say this, but you are on the verge of anorexia. you need to eat 1200 at the very least a day, because otherwise your body will go into starvation mode, where it holds onto any fat and calories you intake because it thinks it won't be fed for a while. also, eating a lot of the same thing, your body predicts how it needs to burn the calories so it uses less energy to burn them. water is great, you can add some milk in and maybe occasionally vegetable juice. working out is great, it seems that you are probably doing medium work, which is fine, you won't get burnt out. eating balanced meals, low fat, high fibre/protein, 1200 calories, should help you lose five pounds a month. i am 160 pounds, at five feet, seven inches, trying to lose weight. email me at dreycraft@hotmail.com if you need an email motivation buddy. good luck! : D

You are going to do major damage to your body. On average you are suppose to loose 1 or 2 lbs a week. Eat better and exercises more. Add muscle and you will burn more fat. Eat lost of veggies and lean meats. You are drinking plenty of water and cut sugar, bread, pasta, and pastries. Take better care of yourself.

Your energy will probably take a serious hit with that bland a diet. Be sure to take vitamins to avoid any deficiencies.
