I loved her wedding...she got married in New Hamshire Conn. Where there is a huge castle on the beach. She married just before sunset...and they walked into the water knee deep just as the sun was 1/4 way into the ocean. She didn't wear a big white gown, she whore a soft, sheer type, that would blow in the wind, he... a nice pair of linen pants and a white unbutton(two buttons) that were tucked into his pants. she wore a flower wreath on her head...it was so beautiful..they have plenty of money to have thrown it off he hook one to cost a small fortune...but it was so simple...yet elegant., and the pictures of thier sillioets in the sunset, was to die for. I want somehting like this, but don't want to look like i stole it from them...what on earth should i do?

You should call your cousin and tell her you loved her wedding and wanted to get some wedding idea's from her.
And if she had a wedding planner ask if she could give you the number.
If you really want a wedding like hers then go ahead and ask her if it would bother her if you did.
Sounds like a wonderful wedding.

So have an outdoor wedding, just not in the same location as cousin's.
There are plenty of informal wedding gowns out there. Find one you like, making sure it is not identical to cousin's gown. I don't think it will be a big deal if your groom also wears linen pants and a white shirt.
I wouldn't do the flower wreath on your head, as you don't want to be identical to cousin. But maybe a single flower tucked into your updo would be nice.
I suggest talking to your cousin. I am sure she will have some good ideas for you. Try to achieve the feel and the casual atmosphere of her wedding . . . but make an effort to see that your plans are not identical to hers.
You know what I mean . . . different flowers, different cake, different colors, different location, etc.

since you're going for an elegant look i'd keep the wedding in the natural outdoors..
i don't think your cousin would be too happy to see you using her ideas and plus people won't be as amazed second time round!!
why not have a more autumn wedding in the woods or somewhere? if there is a building nearby see if you could hire it out to hold the reception in.. have the ceremony outside in an arbor entwined with white/ivory coloured flowers and hang lanterns from the trees (be careful though!!).. have candles to mark the 'aisle' and use lots of tulle to decorate.. keep the colour scheme basic and elegant.. bold colours will take away this element..
here is a lovely colour combination:
~ cream, rose pink, rose beige and grey beige
the colours are subtle and pretty and then all the attention will be on you!!
why not see if you can get a dress in as close to cream as possible.. your husband in a pale grey/beige suit with a pink rose for his pocket.. have the bridesmaids carrying a single white rose each wearing a metallic looking rose beige dress accessorising with the grey and pink.. your bouquet can be more elaborate with a mixture of pink and white roses and other flowers all tied together with a long white ribbon and wrapped in tulle..
have pretty white chairs (perhaps in wrought iron or something) with tulle tied to them with cute pink or white cushions..
hope you like the ideas have a lovely wedding and i'm sure it will be just as spectacular as your cousins xx

First, congratulations on reaching the ten-year Anniversary mark! a good number of couples are divorced interior of a basically some years, so congrats to you the two on making it this far! think of roughly what kinds of issues your husband enjoys. Does he have any pastimes? Is he into digital contraptions of any sort? Is he a gamer in step with risk? Is there something he would have suggested in communique in present day months that he might desire to have? Does he have already got an iPod or GPS Navigation device for his automobile? i bought my husband a Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS for his birthday final year and he honestly loves it! Is your husband into gardening, cooking, examining or the rest that would desire to supply you present recommendations? sooner or later I overheard my husband conversing to his sister on the telephone approximately "sooner or later" desirous to get an extension ladder, so a pair of weeks later i bought the right one he suggested needing as a "in simple terms by using fact" present. He nonetheless would not know that I overheard the communique and that's how I knew approximately it. :) Congrats and sturdy success!

Any girl would be flattered if you wanted a similar wedding to theirs, but the word is similar, not exactly the same, talk to her and tell her you loved her style so much you would like to borrow certain elements of her big day for your wedding, she may even be able to give you some ideas to help you plan.

Use her wedding as inspiration for yours. You may still want some of the same photography shots that she got (theyre not that unusual for a beach wedding), but change up the details of the day to make it yours.

Wow!
That sounds off the hook!
If you like the wedding, but don't wanna bite off them entirely...maybe you should adjust the settings. Like instead of the beach maybe a nice lake or river that you would scout out and see if the setting would be to your liking.
If you like her beach setting maybe you can have a small boat take you, the groom, preacher and 2 witnesses out a ways just far enough that the guests can see you or summin. I dunno, but those are a few ideas.
So when do you plan on getting hitched????

You need to talk to your cousin about it. Tell her how you feel and that you would love to have a wedding like hers. She just may not mind.
Hope you get your wedding.
