Come on people, we have really turned this place into a $#!% hole. If you believe that the galactic landlord's son is coming over for dinner, don't you think we should stop our sibling rivalry and start at least picking up all stuff we've broken. Maybe he will fix the A/C for us.

Good idea except that if you've noticed, all the main religions are looking forward to doomsday, therefore why bother cleaning up what's leading to it?

Jesus Will Come "like a thief in the night" (A Surprise, Suddenly)
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 (NIV) for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

Furthermore,
Matthew 24:43-44 (NIV) But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Revelation 16:15 (NIV) "Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."

Well...if Jesus had cleaned up his damn messes first, I'd be much more inclined to make the place nice and tidy for him. For one thing, there's these mega churches sprouting out of the ground, killing ecosystems with their parking lots, live music stages, and youth entertainment areas and then there's the bible, which has consumed enough paper to make a real dent in the number of trees we have left. Next, there's Billy Graham. Oh and the crusades. And all that **** Jesus left lying around buried in arcs of covenants and cathedrals and what not. Nope, I'm satisfied with the stinkhole we got going here.

Yes, you are right, we should. I think that is one good thing about different non governmental agencies such as Greenpeace and World Vision and Amnesty International. They make governments do exactly what you are saying. Of course, there is a lot more work to be done, but it is a start.

There is so much to go over with you on this! lol

When Jesus comes back, there will be many armies in Israel in the midst of sacking it. Women will be raped, and people carried off into bondage. Yes, the future. And right about then Jesus will come back causing an earthquake that will rip the Mount of Olives ( in Israel) apart and flatten all the mountains around it. ( Google: East African Rift)

The Armies that came to fight against Israel "Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths."
(Zechariah 14:12)

But before all that God will have His Great Tribulation going on. There will be many dead animals, people, poisonous waters, dead sea creatures, burnt forests, the islands will be out of their places, etc.

So just wait until God gets into the act!!!!!!!

"If Jesus is coming, Shouldn't we clean this place up?" That would make a great bumper sticker. Almost as good as: "I bet Jesus would have used his turn signals!"

It's too late. No one cleaned the place up before his first visit.

Let's all try to face reality. He's not coming back.

Fix the A/C?

Global warming, as I've heard Zilla say, is a big warm hug from God.
