Seriously, its like putting chocolate chip cookies in front of a fat kid and expecting him not to eat it. or like putting a dollar in front of a bum and expecting them not to take it.

If he really wanted and I mean REALLY wanted to know, he shouldve been prepared for the worst. Seriously, if you really want to know some things, you better be prepared for the truth cause its not always pretty or what you wanna hear.

The story, is not literal.
It is the tree of knowledge of good and evil
The tree grew like all trees grow.
I don't think who planted the tree is the issue.
If God planted that tree, then you have to give God credit for planting every tree.
Adam and Eve had a choice.
Like we all do.

It was a test, he wanted them to be good and pure, and if they chose to eat the fruit, they must live with it.
And besides it's not the right choice if you can't make it. God put it there to give them a choice between right an wrong.

What I get from the Bible is that God knew it was going to happen all along. He did it purposefully. He also was willing to rescue those people in the world who trusted Him.
That's why we say, " The Lamb slain before the foundation of the Earth."
Yeah, there would be trouble.
But who will fight God on it? You?
I'm betting on Him.

All along God keeps givng us choices and we always choose wrong. What God wants are creatures who will choose Him. He doesn't want a relationship with robots who He programs. The current choice God has given you is between the earthly pleasures of sin or eternal life of infinte joy in His presence, and still most of us choose wrong.
