Ok let's see I got a state job, I got honor rolls from school, I been having a good time with my friends and just saw a movie tonight but I been lonely for like 9 months now without a girlfriend. First off I was happy to be single for awhile and yes I know I been saving money but I kind of wish I could actually find someone that I like and someone that liked me. Maybe it's for the better... I guess what I'm trying to ask is should I just wait for the girl to come to me? Or should I try and maybe go after the girl but not look desperate?
PS- I'm not desperate at all because first off I won't go for a lot of girls. I can be picky but not to the extreme so what's the better option here?

Once again, this is the best advice of all the advice you will get... take it or leave it.... you'll hear a bunch of crap from everyone else, but if you want to solve your problem, seriously, you'll quit spanking mr. happy peter.
I'm not jesting, even if that sounds a little funny. There is a theory at work here, so quit waxing your one eyed hobgoblin of love for just one second and pay attention.
When you pull the taffy, you are creating a surrogate in a way. You are stealing from woman the release from the everyday grind that she needs to provide. How else is she ever going to get her stupid eggs fertilized?
So stop softening up the salami for about a week or two. I'm not kidding. You will build up a lot of pressure.
Seriously, this is a good thing. The reasons are psychological, spiritual, physical, and mainly inspirational... you will then have the internal drive... the motivation to start hitting on a lot more women.. You will find yourself doing it despite your natural instincts, which are the problem here anyway. This, by the way, is the best answer, but as usual i will not be rewarded, ANYWAY
quit tapping the nasty weasel of love... and this problem will take care of itself. If you go three weeks and this didn't work, you are a liar.

Just keep waiting and saving your money. You're young and the right girl will come along. Don't jump into a relationship just because you want one. Those will just turn ugly and you'll figure out that you don't want a girlfriend right now anyway.

Start going to places where you can find lots of ladies. Let your friends (especially the married ones) know you're looking. Join a dating site. Contact a professional matchmaker. Take a language class at the University.

well I think u've got it about right
look for girls and flirt with ones u like if they like u they'll flirt back or they r just playing with u but nvm about that
and don't worry every one has times when they don't get dates and Bf and GF
(of course I never have cause I'm not aloud to date even if I have gotten offers)
