it might be hard to try to talk to him on your own because he might just try to avoid you. do you know someone in common...like another student or teacher who could pave the way for a chance for the two of you to talk? so that you can explain to him what happened? if he doesnt really want to see you...a third person might be able to explain to him your situation and might be able to tell him how bad you feel about what happened.
good luck...hope things work out for you.

listen, i know how these things can really mess things up and are the only thing you can think about. What you really ahve to do, is just sit down and explain everything very truthfully to him. Not hiding anything, just the plain truth. Share your feelings about it, and make him understand whats going on. As soon as there is understanding and communication, you wont have to worry about it anymore and will even establish a stronger bond with your professor. As hard and akward its going to be starting up the conversation, you willf eel very releived after it!
hope this helps!!
best of luck!!

Don't let this bother you. Just keep doing your work and turn it in. Don't try to smile at him, or be so friendly. If you bother to try and explain this to him, it will only make matters worse. If he has a problem with it or you, I'm sure he will confront you about this. So, just breathe in and exhale. Everything will be okay. There is a thin line you don't want to cross so give him the same courtesy and be just as distant and serious about your work. He will see for himself that you only respect him, and nothing more.

Just continue to be the best student you can be in his class. Always act like a professional (student) in his presence and stop worrying about what he may or may not think about you. Show him better than you can tell him what type of person you are.
And watch those so-called friends of yours. Perhaps they saw that you were his favorite pupil also and wanted to tarnish your image on purpose.

Love between a student and a teacher will be lovely yes will be charm of course as a dream but reality tells that a student will be just a student and the teacher nothing else, for his or hers students so If he was your friendly teacher well he was just that but at first he is and is going to be always your teacher. don't be confused

Straight up... Tell Him.
Tell him the differences that you have noticed and let him know in a professional manor.
