Hi.How many speakers do you need ? Best buy or sound quality ?

ADDITION INFORMATION.
Thanks for the reply. Speaker choice is a personal one so it is hard to recommend one brand in favour of the other.JBL and Polk make some very good speakers but if it came to a choice i would skip both these brands and buy better speakers for the money.

Have you heard both these speakers ?Do you have to have one or the other or are there other options. Sorry for all the questions but i wan't you to have the best sound for your budget.

ADDITIONAL INFO.
See what you think of these JBL Speakers selling at half price.I think JBL are better speakers than Polk.

With DVD Players it's a bit hard to suggest with the ongoing dispute between Blu-Ray and HD DVD To see who is the winner of the HIGH Definition format for future Players. The way i see it is you have 5 choices "
(1) Wait to see who wins.
(2) Buy a cheap normal DVD Player
(3) Buy a Blu-Ray player (hoping they are the winner)
(4) Buy a HD DVD Player(hoping they are the winner)
(5) Buy a Player that can play Blu-Ray and HD DVD Discs.
