Crispy Cereal Prawns
15 Medium Prawns, removed the middle part shells.
1/4 Cup Flour
2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Pouring Cream/Evaporated Milk
3 Curry Leaves, roughly shredded
3 Kaffir Leaves, roughly shredded
1 Stick Lemon Grass, finely chopped
2 Small Chillies, roughly chopped
1 Cup Cereal, lightly crushed (Whole bran/Cornflakes)
1/4 Cup Oatmeal
1 Tablespoon Butter
Salt, pepper and sugar to taste. (abt 1/2 tsp)
Clean the prawns, slice the back halfway down the middle and remove the vein.
Seperate the eggs and set the yolks aside.
Lightly beat the whites with the cream.Coat the prawns with flour, dip in egg whites, then more flour.
Heat some oil in a pan and fry prawns in a single layer until crispy and golden. Set the prawns on a paper towel to drain the oil.
Heat butter in a pan, when it starts to bubble add, chopped lemon grass, curry leaves, kaffir leaves, chillies, salt, pepper & sugar. Fry till fragrant.
Add the cereal, oats & egg yolks in a thin steady stream while stirring. Once the mixture is cooked to a crispy golden brown, turn off the heat, add the prawns and stir to coat.
Serve hot.

Recipe for Cheerios Breakfast Bars --
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
3 cups Cheerios cereal
Salted peanuts
Preparation Instructions:
1. Bring sugar and honey to a boil in 2 quart saucepan. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter until blended. Pour in cheerios and peanuts and mix until well coated.
2. Spread in buttered 9 x 13 pan and let cool.
Cut in squares.

Ranger Cookies
Makes 2 doz.
(Can double recipe)
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick oats
1 cup Cornflakes (or Wheaties)
1 cup raisins (optional)
Cream together shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop onto cookie sheet, bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

Peanut Butter Cereal Treats
Ingredients:
4 cups your favorite breakfast cereal
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Light or Dark Corn Syrup
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
Serves: Makes about 36 (1 1/2-inch) bars
Preparation Instructions:
1. Line 8 or 9 inch square baking pan with plastic wrap. Pour cereal into large bowl.
2. In medium saucepan combine sugar and corn syrup. Stirring occasionally, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Pour over cereal; stir to coat. Press evenly into prepared pan.
4. Cool about 15 minutes. Invert onto cutting board; remove plastic wrap. Cut into bars.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Prepare as in step 1, above. In 2-quart microwavable bowl combine sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter. Microwave on High (100%), stirring twice, 3-1/2 to 4 minutes or until mixture is smooth and sugar is dissolved. Complete as in steps 3 and 4, above.

CEREAL CANDY BARS
1 c. sugar
1 c. white syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
8 c. Special K cereal
6 (1 oz.) Hershey bars
1 (6 oz.) butterscotch chips
Cook sugar and syrup until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add to cereal and mix. Press into buttered jelly roll pan. Cool. Melt candy bars and chips in double boiler or over low heat. Spread over cooled layer. Cool. Cut into bars
CEREAL COOKIES
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. crisp rice cereal (or any other you like)
2 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar or cornstarch
Take 1 large mixing bowl, cream together sugars and Crisco. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in cereal. Drop from teaspoon into ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen

Corn Flakes "Fried" Chicken
I don't know the exact recipe but the jist of it is you use crushed corn flakes to coat you boneless skinless chicken breast. You bake in the oven until chicken is done. Chicken is crunchy but not fried!

i love rice krispies candy bars!
basic recipe:
- rice krispies (original or chocolate)
- butter
- marshmellow
optional:
- chocolate chips
- candied fruits
- anything you'd like to add! let your imagination run wild!
1. melt the butter in a hot pot.
2. add the marshmellow and allow the marshmellow to turn gooey.
3. add the rice krispies.
4. form them into balls or put them in a well-oiled pan to cool and cut into whatever shapes you like!

i don't know about the other ones. I love making marshmallow cream and trix. It's kinda like rice crispies, but it has all the fruit flavor. pretty cool
