I'm interesting in become some type of engineer. A few people have tried to explain but they all say something different. I'm interesting in building skyskrapers or modern buildings. If u are interested in building skyscrapers,go for structural engineering..Architecture is the branch of engineering concerned with the design of buildings.Mechanical engineering deals with machines.Civil engineering is concerned with the building of bridges,dams,etc.

As you are interested in building skyscrapers and etc...the basic thing you should have is the basics of civil engg, architecture and structural engineering. you should have specialization in structural engg with strong foundations of civil and mechanical.
